This Privacy Policy explains how HyperZeta ("we", "us") handles your
information in the VolumeCTRL Android app
(package com.hyperzeta.volumectrl, "the app"). The app is a floating
volume controller and media volume booster. The app is intended for users aged
13 and older.

The anonymous install identifier is generated by the app at random. It is not your Google account, phone number, email, or advertising ID, and it cannot be used to identify you personally.
The app uses INTERNET and ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE for in-app
purchases, analytics/crash reporting, and bug-report submission; the overlay
permission to draw the floating button; and optional permissions for vibration,
running in the background, and restarting after reboot. No advertising ID
(AD_ID) permission is requested.
We use Google services to operate the app: Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, Firebase Remote Config, Cloud Firestore, Google Play Billing, and Google Play In-App Review. When you choose to rate the app, the Google Play In-App Review flow is handled entirely by Google Play; we do not receive your rating or review text. The handling of data by these services is governed by Google's Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy.
We do not sell your data and do not share it with third parties for advertising. Data is processed by Google solely to provide the services listed above. Data is encrypted in transit.
Analytics and crash data are retained according to Google Firebase defaults. Bug reports are kept only as long as needed to address the issue. To request deletion of a bug report or any data associated with you, contact us at the email below; because bug reports are stored with an anonymous identifier, please include enough detail (e.g. the approximate date and device) to locate the report.
Depending on where you live (for example under the EU/UK GDPR or the California CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, or delete data relating to you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. We do not sell personal information. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the email below. Because the data we collect is anonymous or pseudonymous, we may ask for details (such as the approximate date, device, and tier) to locate the relevant records.
The app is intended for users aged 13 and older. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this policy as the app changes. The "Last updated" date above reflects the current version.
